Sunlight on paper, exposed in march and april 2017
Paper curtain registers the light, that normally would have entered through the window of my bedroom, in a primitive manner. I have tried to register the light of an entire month, not by taking a photograph of it, but through the discolouration of the paper. The passing of time is literally documented by the means of the UV radiation of sunlight on simple paper. Thereby Paper Curtain forms an image of compressed time. Also it can work as a primitive photograph, referring to the first photographs of 19th century photographic pioneers Joseph Nicéphore Niépce and Henri Fox Talbot.
